So I decided to undertake one of the assignments my students were working on, and here is the product. All sounds are created from the track Me and a Gun by Tori Amos.

Its Pickling Time
As a teacher, I get a ridiculously long time off, and still seem to never achieve what I set out to do. I WAS going to get some tracks recorded, but as per usual, this hasn't happened, on the plus side, I have moved my equipment and instruments into my new studio!
So I go back tomorrow, which has led to a flurry of activity, including digging up and preserving most of my veggies, as there has been a bit of a glut! Here are some beasty beets that have ended up in jars:

Right, heres hoping my new students are fantastic.

Step One
Welcome to the Dove House, hope you are nice and cosy. In my cote, I will be putting up some new compositons, and some oldies, plus keeping you all up with my doings.
At the minute, I am re
cording a lovely little tune about a little girl who turns out to be a pirate, which will be ready for a listen by the end of summer, although I am having slight technical issues, I'm not sure this is how you are supposed to do it, but 'necessity is the mother of invention', well, so says Mr Swift.
There will be a short gap in the recording process, as it's off to Simouth folk week for me on Thursday, so I'm hoping to come back with many new tunes (well, new to me). I have been loaned a camera, all the way from Lowestoft to create a nice little picture diary for my next blog.
Until then, entertain yourselves with this wesbite www.songsfromtheshed.com , especially the April Fools sessions.
